Basic information: Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB), Tripura has invites an application Tripura Teachers’ Eligibility Test (T-TET) 2024 in two papers: Paper-I is for a person intending to be a teacher of class I to V and Paper-Il is for a person intending to be a teacher of class VI to VIll. The test schedule is as under:

- Indian nationals residing in Tripura (having Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura) and having minimum academic and professional qualifications as specified in the NCTE Notifications dated 12 November, 2014 and as amended from time to time for appearing in the teachers’ eligibility tests can apply.
- Test Center, time and duration of test will be mentioned in the Admit Card. Test Center can be anywhere in Tripura.
- Syllabus is available with the official website of TRBT. (www.trb.tripura.gov.in)
- Candidates are instructed to go through the Prospectus-cum-lnstructions, available with the official website of TRBT (www.trb.tripura.gov.in), for eligibility criteria, procedure for online submission of application, fee payment and other terms and conditions of the test.
Candidates are instructed to download the admit card from the official website ofTRBT within stipulated date. If any discrepancy is noticed in the downloaded admit card with respect to Application, Acknowledgement etc, the same should be brought into the notice of TRBT immediately.
- It must be carefully noted that getting T-TET qualified and obtaining T-TET certificate does not confer any right to any candidate for recruitment, since it is only one of the eligibility norms for recruitment of teachers at elementary level. The T-TET qualified candidates will be required to undergo a selection process by applying again as and when an advertisement is made by the Board (TRBT) for recruitment of teachers at elementary level.
