ESIC Medical College Hospital, Sanathnagar, Hyderabad proposes to fill up the following posts in the Specialties mentioned against each on contractual basis through Walk-in Interview. Details of vacancies and reservation position are mentioned hereunder:

Reporting time for candidates is 09: 00 AM to 10: 30 AM on the day of the walk-in Interview.

Note:
1 . These vacancies are provisional and may increase or decrease subject to the actual requirement for patient care and NMC requirement. The Competent Authority reserves the right of any amendment, cancellation and changes to this advertisement as a whole or in part without assigning any reason or giving notice in the interest of patient care.
- The dates of walk-in Interview as mentioned against the department are final and no change will be made. The candidates have to make necessary arrangements by their own for attending the Walk- in Interview.
- Reservations will be as per Govt. of India guidelines issued from time to time.
- In case of non-availability of reserved category candidates in the post of Super Specialist, the vacancy may be filled up, for less than 45 days, under UR category for fulfilling the urgent requirement.
- Candidates can opt for Full Time or Part Time. However, preference will be given for the candidates who opt for Full Time.
- The eligibility criteria including the age, educational qualification and period of experience, as prescribed in the advertisement will be determined with reference to the date of Walk-in Interview.
- As per NMC TEQ dated 14.02.2022 regarding “Detemination of equivalence of the qualification of DNB
(Broad Specialties) with MD/MS and DNB (Super Specialties) with DM/M.Ch” -The Diplomat of National Board (DNB) in broad specialty and super specialty qualifications when granted in a medical institution with attached hospital or in a hospital with the strength of five hundred or more beds, by the National Board of Examinations, shall be equivalent in all respects to the corresponding broad specialty (MD/MS) and super specialty (DM/M.Ch) postgraduate qualification, but in all other cases, senior residency in a medical college for an additional period of one year shall be required for such qualification to be equivalent for the purposes of teaching.

Note: The crucial date of determining the age limit, work experience and other criteria regarding eligibility for the post shall be the date of Walk-in Interview.
The candidates seeking reservation under SC/ ST category should submit SC/ST certificate issued in the prescribed pro-forma and shall be issued by an officer not below the rank of Sub-divisional officer or equivalent authority of the concerned state for central Govt. Jobs
- i) Educational Qualifications:
| 1 | Super Specialist (Entry Level)/ Jr. Consultant (Full Time) | A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in first schedule or second Schedule or Part Il of the third Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualification included in Part Il of the third schedule should also fulfill Subsection (3) of section 13 of Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). DM/M.Ch in the specialty concerned. Should have a minimum of 2 years of experience after qualifying DM/M.Ch in the specialty concerned. In the case of holders of DM/M.Ch. Qualification of five years duration, the period of Senior PG Residency rendered in the last part of the said DM./M.Ch. shall be counted towards requirement of five years’ experience. The qualification in the specialty should be a recognized qualification as per the rovisions of IMC Act. |
- Pay and Allowances:
- ESIC has adopted Consolidated Remuneration structure for Contractual Faculty Super Specialist, Specialist and Residents/Tutors as per ESIC Headquarters 0M No.F.No.Z-17/11/1/2007/Med.lV (Pt. File) dated 13.04.2022 and 0M No. Z-11012/51/2022-MED-Vl dated 08.12.2022.

No Private Practice is allowed during the tenure of service in ESIC.
- Term of Contract:
- The initial period of contract Super Specialist will be initially for a period of 01 year, extendable every year up to a maximum of 03 years or Up to attainment of 75 years of age for Super Specialist (Full time) or until joining of regular incumbent, whichever is earlier, subject to satisfactory performance.
- The Contractual engagement may be terminated / discontinued on either side giving one month prior notice to this effect without assigning reason.
- Other terms and conditions will be applicable as issued by competent authority from time to time.
The following documents should be submitted at the time of Walk-in Interview:
- Two copies of recent self attested passport size photograph.
- Self-attested copies of certificates and testimonials in support of proof of age (Date of Birth), Educational Qualification, Experience and Research papers, Publications etc.
- Original certificates and testimonials in support of proof of age (Date of Birth), Educational Qualifications, Experience and Research Papers, Publications, PG Course recognition Certificate etc.,
Should be submitted at the time of walk-in Interview.
- Terms & Conditions:
1 . In case, the selected candidate resigns, he/she has to serve one month notice period or have to pay one month salary.
2. Candidates selected to the post of Super Specialist (Entry Level) have to deposit an amount Rs. 100000/- as security deposit at the time of joining. The security deposit will be forfeited in case;
- The selected candidate resigns/leaves within 01 year.
- The selected candidate resigns/leaves after 01 year of joining but fails to fulfill the Notice period conditions.
3. The selected specialist must have a professional indemnity policy which should cover the period as desired by ESIC. The policy is meant to cover the professional liability falling on them as a result of errors and omissions committed by them while rendering professional services.
The minimum sum assured per annum shoul
i.Rs 30 lakhs: Anesthesiologists, Cardiac Surgeons, Neuro Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons etc. ii.Rs 20 lakhs: for General Surgeons, Gynecologists, and Obstetricians etc.
jii.Rs 10 lakhs: for Physicians, Dentists, Radiologists, Pathologists, Chest (Pulmonologists) etc.
iv.A copy of the Insurance & Premium Receipt must be submitted within 7 days from the date of engagement.
- As the contract being for one year, absence for the period of 15 days or beyond without prior permission/approval of Competent Authority will be treated as abandonment of duty and the contract will be terminated without any notice and security deposit will be forfeited.
- The absence from work for a period of fifteen days without proper permission of the Competent Authority will amount to voluntary abandonment of engagement and automatic termination. The Medical Officers are required to mark attendance manually as well as on NMC Aadhar Enabled Bio-metric Attendance System (AEBAS) daily during scheduled working days.

- All the candidates should produce original documents in respect of all the parameters at the time of Reporting for Walk-in Interview.

- Selection Procedure:
- The selection will be made on the basis of performance of the candidate in the interview before the Selection Board.
- Result will be displayed on ESIC website.
- Selected candidates will have to join immediately after receipt of the offer of appointment.
- Upon selection, if the candidate fails to report on or before the stipulated last date of joining, his/her appointment stands cancelled and the next eligible candidate will be automatically be deemed selected.
- General Instructions:
- Mere submission of application does not confer any right to the candidate to be eligible for interview or selection.
- Application should be submitted in the prescribed format only. The applications submitted in any other format OR incomplete applications will be summarily rejected. The candidates may obtain the application from the website and submit the same duly filled in all aspects during the certificate verification on the date of Walk-in Interview.
- The candidates may ascertain their eligibility and report for interview on the scheduled date and time for Walk-in Interview. Candidates reporting after scheduled time will not be allowed to attend the interview process.
- ESIC reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage at its discretion and such decision will be binding on all concerned.
- Wrong declarations/submission of false information or any other action contrary to law shall lead to cancellation of the candidature at any stage in addition to suitable legal action.
- Opportunity for appearing in the interview given to the candidates is purely provisional. Joining of the candidates will be subject to detailed scrutiny of eligibility conditions/production of prescribed certificates in case of reservation.
